1. Mind the Lighting (Avoid dark shots)
Photos taken in natural daylight, next to a window, or outdoors always look stunning when printed. Try to avoid photos that are very dark, shot in low-light nightclubs, or have heavy shadows across faces, as printing tends to make dark tones appear even more intense.
2. Watch the Resolution (No screenshots!)
Modern phones take incredibly high-resolution photos. However, when we share photos via messaging apps like Messenger or Viber, the quality is automatically compressed. The same happens with screenshots. For a crisp print, always upload the original file directly from your camera roll.
3. Leave Some "Breathing Room" (The 2mm Border)
During our manufacturing process, your magnet is hand-trimmed with millimeter precision. To prevent important details (like text or the top of someone's head) from being cut off, ensure your photo has some "breathing room" around the edges. When using our site's preview tool, make sure faces are safely centered.
4. Match the Shape to the Composition
If you have a gorgeous, wide panoramic landscape, it might not look right squeezed into a square magnet because a large portion of it will have to be cropped out.
